Where can we live?

Short preview for the documentary "Where can we live? --about being electrohypersensitive"

The full length documentary is: 45 min.

During three years we followed two young women afflicted by EHS.
They both have families with young children.

Lisa has left town and her economy studies and concentrates on getting stronger and healthier.

Linn is a computer engineer and she eventually moves away from the capital to a new job and a new kind of life in the countryside.

One New Cell Tower, One More Homeless, Many more in Peril
This 8-minute video is produced by Wendy Hoy who walked 800 km (500 miles) to Ottawa to raise awareness after she learned all Canadians are affected and so many are unknowingly and unnecessarily suffering. Please contact people as suggested in the video. And please Share, Like, Tweet, post, email, and all those other things you do so well.

There were no cell towers/antennas in Port Franks, Ontario before this new one.

LA Teacher's Union Passes Resolution to Ensure Safety from Wireless Technology

LA Teacher's Union Passes Resolution to Ensure Safety from Hazardous Electromagnetic Fields (EMF) in Schools including EMF Emissions from Wireless Technology

United Teachers Los Angeles (UTLA), representing over 40,000 teachers and other workers in LAUSD, passed the following motion by a sweeping majority last night at 9 PM (Motion for the new UTLA Resolution transcribed from attendee, Shane Gregory's transcripts):

Health and Human Services Committee 3-6-13 #1: Moved by Kevin Mottus, seconded by John Cabrera.

"I move that UTLA will abide by current National NEA Policy for Environmentally Safe Schools which states that all employees and stakeholders should be informed when there are changes in their exposure to environmental hazards including electromagnetic radiation and that all stakeholders and the public should be notified of any actual and potential hazards. UTLA will advocate for technological solutions that maintain technology upgrades while not increasing employees exposure to electromagnetic radiation.

Bill would eliminate $12-per-month 'opt-out' fee for smart meters

"Paying that $12 a month to decrease my proximity to radiation classified by the World Health Organization as a possible human carcinogen feels just plain wrong," she said. "DDT [a pesticide] is in the same category. I'd feel the same way about paying to opt out of spraying DDT on my house. And, similarly, even if I did pay, I'd still be exposed."

Comment by reader:  I recall that a large percentage of the cost for the metering came from the Obama AARA which was aimed at encouraging job creation. Unfortunately, the money was used to install equipment which eliminated a substantial number of jobs in direct conflict with AARA objectives. CMP should be made accountable for not meeting program goals

Smart Meter Causes Ill Effects

Opponents on RF technology claim it causes side effects like agitation, dizziness, fatigue, forgetfulness, headaches, interrupted sleep, leg cramps, ringing in the ears, and skin rashes.
The Vincents have been experiencing many of those same problems since the meters were installed.

To switch to a non-RF meter that still works with the new smart grid, the Vincents would have to pay $253 for the installation and then fork over $51 per month to get the meter read by a PGE employee.

"I think a $50 a month fee is punitive," complained Vincent.

Note: The Show Director has arranged that the wi-fi routers in the entire main exhibit area (2nd floor) will be OFF during the 3-day show. Any wi-fi equipment on the ground floor in foyers, corridors, and where Film and Main Speaker events are held will be ON. In Toronto and with a high number of attendees, they are unable to provide a no-RF/EMF environment for various reasons, however, this is a wonderful offer and accomplishment by the Show's Director. Even if you won't be attending, please phone to briefly thank her: Helen McLellan, Toll free 1-877-389-0996 or 416-924-9800.

China Safety?

China has begun testing smart-grid technology that could eventually be deployed nationwide to make the delivery of electricity more reliable and efficient. It might also serve as a way to deliver high-speed Internet, TV, and telephony to the farthest reaches of the country. The State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC) is running the smart-grid project using passive optical networking (PON) technology—a high-bandwidth data wiring that can be run inside electric power cables without interference. Around 86,000 premises in China have so far been connected to the grid; if the project goes nationwide, it would cost around $2 billion to deploy.

While China is selling dangerous microwave smart meters around the world, they are testing a safe optical system for themselves.

China is not normally noted for its concern for safety, so this may be a good indication of how dangerous and second class the North American wireless smart meter system really is!

Smart Meter Awareness may appeal judge's dismissal of lawsuit ...

A federal judge Friday dismissed a lawsuit against Naperville by the Naperville Smart Meter Awareness group, but left open an avenue of appeal.  Judge John Z. Lee granted the city's request for dismissal of the lawsuit, but did so without prejudice, allowing NSMA to file an amended complaint by April 5.

"This is actually a good thing for us," NSMA attorney Doug Ibendahl said. "Most lawsuits go through amended complaints."
