Your Rights against smart meters etc.

Because EHS is recognized as a medical illness and is supported by the Canadian Human Rights Commission ( http://www.chrc-ccdp.ca/pdf/legal_sensitivity_en.pdf ), I decided to make inquires.

First I called the Ontario Human Rights Legal Support Cente at 1-866-625-5179.  I spoke to a representative who told me that I can enter a claim on grounds that I do have a recognized disability (even though compensation isn't paid for it).  She also said that the Electrical Utility Company has a responsibility to provide good service and facilities to the consumers and they are in violation of the human rights code if members of my family are sick due to the wireless smart meter.  She also said hydro has to accommodate us because of our disability, which could mean the removal of the smart meter.

She also said that this process takes a while because the application could go to mediation before it goes to the tribunal for hearing but you can ask to have your application expedited, especially if you have a letter from your doctor and have other underlying health issues that could be adversely affected by the microwave radiation.

To get an application you can call 1-866-598-0322 and ask for the "application package" along with form 1, and form 1-C.

May 15th in Vancouver  My talk is entitled "Knowledge is Powerful" and will be mainly focused on a Electropollution Overview, Dirty Electricity and Wireless Radiation caused by the smart meter and the link to health risks, safety risks, cyber security, and our human rights.
I will talk about various solutions for shielding and simple things we can do to protect our families and neighbours.
A short trailer shown of "thePowerfilm" by Josh Del sol. which is all about issues around the Smart Meter deployment.

Don't let PG&E charge extra to opt out of smart meters. ... How can we be charged for the removal of smart meters that have never been installed in the first place and for the removal of smart meters installed without our permission?

Data protection associations also say that the new meters could be a problem because they could be hacked for example by burglars who want to know whether anybody was at home.

Bees myteriously Dying

Is it just a coincidence that honey bees are dying all over Oxford County just after a County wide Wi Fi system was implemented?

I doubt it.  There is much evidence to show that microwave radiation harms bees, birds, trees and humans.

The only thing that I find surprising is the fact that Oxford County, assisted by the Ontario Provincial Government, implemented such a dangerous system, when so much scientific evidence is already available, which shows the many dangers.  Incompetence!

About the ROC Project

The Rural Oxford Connections (ROC) project is a joint venture between Execulink Telecom, the County of Oxford and the Province of Ontario to provide high speed internet access to previously underserved and unserved customers in rural areas of Oxford County. The ROC project will allow residents and businesses within Oxford County and across all its municipalities, access to a minimum of 1.5 Mbps download speed. Once completed, all of Oxford County's 2,041 km2 will have high-speed internet coverage.

Our Commitment

The ROC project will progress until completion in Fall 2011 and during that time, both Execulink Telecom and the County of Oxford will provide resources to both business and residential customers. These include, the Rural Oxford Connections website, community seminars, and informational materials. As well, Execulink Telecom, will provide frequently updated content to help Oxford County customers learn about the service, its availability, ordering process and support.

PUC DELAYS DECISION ON DISMISSING COMPLAINT

May 10, 2012 -- The California Public Utilities Commission (PUC) has decided to delay approval of a proposed decision dismissing the complaint Wilner & Associates filed against PG&E until the PUC's next regularly-scheduled Business Meeting on May 24, 2012.  Wilner contends that the PUC's decision in the opt-out proceeding allowing PG&E's customers to choose a conventional analog electric meter rather than a SmartMeter does not provide "complete relief to any customer concerned about the effects of EMF radiation" as stated in the proposed decision.  Furthermore, Wilner points out that the opt-out decision does not settle the following issues raised in the complaint the PUC is trying to sweep under the carpet:

            1.         Should PG&E be allowed to use SmartMeters that emit twice as much radio frequency (RF) pulsed radiation than it told its customers and the PUC would be necessary to implement the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) program?

            2.         Should PG&E be required to identify SmartMeters that are wired incorrectly and/or have defective components so that they can be replaced?

            3.         Should PG&E be required to explain why the Underwriters Laboratories (UL) registration on the SmartMeters was canceled by the manufacturer?

            4.         Should PG&E be required to explain why it is using customers' premises to serve as relay stations to transmit other customers' data to its collection points without their consent and compensation for such use?

            5.         Should PG&E be required to resolve violations of FCC rules governing how much RF interference can be conducted onto a customer's electrical wiring by a SmartMeter?

            6.         Should PG&E be required to initiate a plan (a practice) to promptly resolve customer complaints about health concerns relating to SmartMeters?

            7.         Should PG&E be required to explain why it gave preference to certain customers by installing an analog meter for them while at the same time it refused to do the same thing for other customers with health problems associated with SmartMeters?

            8.         Should PG&E be required to inform its customers that the FCC does not have guidelines concerning maximum permissible exposure to RF radiation emitted by SmartMeters?

            9.         Should PG&E be required to warn customers about potential health issues relating to implementation of the Home Area Network (HAN) feature of the SmartMeter system?

           10.         Should PG&E be required to provide an accommodation to customers that qualify for such consideration under the Americans with Disabilities Act?

           11.         Should PG&E be required to inform its customers that the PUC has not made any determination as to whether SmartMeters are safe or not?
